Approval is requested for the lease by private treaty, at a nominal premium, of an area of 3,600 sq.ft. as an extension to N.K.I.L. 182 to the Precious Blood Hospital. The area would be used for the erection of an orphanage. At present the Precious Blood Hospital is a combined hospital and orphanage, an arrangement which is very unsatisfactory. Subject to your approval of a grant by private treaty I propose to charge the Precious Blood Hospital a nominal premium of $10.00 and a nominal Crown Rent of $10.00 per annum with restrictive covenant against assignment and for use of site for purposes of an orphanage only. Building Covenant will be $75,000 in 1 year and term will corespond to all grants in leased territories.
